Tazin Khan Norelius is the founder and CEO of Cyber Collective, a nonprofit that trains and certifies a new workforce to protect communities from digital harm, equipping people to recognize, resist, and recover from it. She is a cyber risk strategist who spent over a decade inside corporate security before concluding that the field had made itself unreachable to the people it was supposed to protect. Her work since has been about closing that distance, translating digital harm into terms communities understand and institutions can act on.

Cyber Collective is building the standard for what it means to be a digital safety practitioner, work that most institutions still treat as ad hoc. Its programs have reached more than 5.5 million people across 7 countries, training the people on the front line of digital harm across agencies, nonprofits, and government offices.
Khan approaches this work through cyberfeminism and cyber risk governance, examining how systems get designed, whose harms are formally recognized, and whose are treated as secondary. As a Mozilla Fellow she is producing No Clear Remedy, an investigation into the restitution gap facing survivors of AI-generated image abuse: the absence of any clear path to compensation or accountability once a synthetic image of one exists.
She holds a master's in cybersecurity, cybercrime, and global conflict from NYU and is a German Council Foreign Relations fellow. Her work has been featured by CNN, Forbes, and Harper's Bazaar.
